Going, Going, Gone... Thank You

The last few weeks have been an incredible experience. What began as a closing down sale quickly turned into something much more. The support, kindness and goodwill shown by our customers has been truly overwhelming, and we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited the shop, made a purchase, sent a message, dropped off a card or flowers, or simply stopped by to wish us well.

The sale itself was a complete sell-out, and seeing so many familiar faces over those final weeks reminded us just how lucky we have been to be part of Jersey's crafting community for so many years.

We would also like to thank everyone for their patience with the queues and busy periods during the closing sale. Your understanding and good humour meant a great deal to us!

Looking around the now-empty shelves and displays is quite emotional. For more than three decades, Treadles has been filled with fabrics, yarns, books, patterns, sewing machines, creative ideas and, most importantly, wonderful people. While the shop may have closed, the friendships, memories and countless projects created over the years will remain.

To everyone who has knitted, sewn, quilted, crocheted, crafted and created alongside us, thank you for allowing Treadles to be part of your creative journey.

Living on our wonderful little island means this is not really goodbye. We are sure we will continue to see many of you around Jersey, and we look forward to saying hello as our paths cross in the future.
