Discover the Liberation Town Trail in St Helier
Hi Everyone,
May has arrived, and with it comes a wonderful opportunity to delve into our island's rich history. The Liberation Town Trail is now open and runs until Sunday, 18th May 2025, offering a unique way to commemorate Jersey's Liberation.
This self-guided trail features 27 beautifully illustrated displays in shop windows throughout St Helier's Town Centre. Each display tells a part of the story of the Channel Islands' liberation, providing both locals and visitors with a poignant reminder of our shared past.
Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend your day, the Liberation Town Trail is a must-see. It's a chance to reflect, learn, and appreciate the resilience of our community.
For more details and to view the trail map, please visit the Parish of St Helier's official page.

And that’s not all – Parade Gardens will be buzzing with life during the Liberation Festival! Head down on Saturday 10th May from 3pm–10pm or Sunday 11th May from 1pm–9pm to enjoy brilliant performances from local artists, free children’s activities, and plenty of delicious food and drink. It’s the perfect way to soak up the atmosphere and celebrate freedom with the community.
